Theatrical trailer for the 1950 comedy romp, THE GOOD HUMOR MAN, starring Jack Carson, Lola Albright and George Reeves. Delightful, speedy slapstick with Carson as Good Humor Ice Cream salesman becomes involved with a sultry blonde (Jean Wallace), when he rescues her from gangsters. Soon, he's being framed for murder and calls on his girlfriend (Lola Albright), her kid brother (Peter Miles) and the neighborhood members of "The Captain Marvel Club" to prove his innocence. Great fun with all the subtlety of Three Stooges short!! Interestingly, the Captain Marvel aspect of the film was played up heavily in Fawcett Comics, which carried ads promoting the film. George Reeves, who is billed fourth, would soon become televison's SUPERMAN after signing to play the role in 1951's SUPERMAN AND THE MOLE MEN. Thus making THE GOOD HUMOR MAN the only film to have both Captain Marvel and Superman in the same film!
